About Me
For many years I have been a fully accredited crisis support worker for Lifeline, and Samaritans; both government funded agencies providing free national counselling services. My experience included providing telehealth support within the following areas:
- mental health concerns such as anxiety and depression;
- as well as relationship, and family concerns.
Additionally I am an accredited member of the Australian Counselling Association (A.C.A.), and have professional indemnity insurance to practice throughout Australia.
Over a twenty-five-year period, I have worked in various roles including sales, marketing, banking, customer service, and media dynamics. Considering all the above, I believe I am well placed to professionally support individuals having concerns dealing with various life challenges.
I have completed:
- Various Natural Therapy Certificates (e.g. College of Somatic Studies)
- A certificate in medical terminology with the Australian Medical Association (A.M.A)
- A Counselling Diploma from the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors (A.I.P.C.)
- A Graduate Certificate in Counselling from Edith Cowan University (E.C.U.)
I have qualifications in Aged Care, Disability, and Allied Health which include the following:
